Where do you get all your books from ?
We have collected First Edition books and rare autographed memorabilia since 1980. We buy from well established auction houses and private collections. We also host our own signing events from time to time with celebrities and attend as many book signings and events as possible.
Do you offer a COA ?
The use of COA's (Certificate of Authenticity) has become much abused in today's market, and they are often no longer worth the paper they are printed on. Nowadays, anybody with a decent printer can make the worse fake signature in the world appear to have the most exceptional provenance. Although we do still issue certificates, these now include important key security features including matching serial numbers and an image of the actual item on each certificate and where possible details of the signing. We also offer a full authentification service for private and insurance purposes (see above for further details).
Which First Edition Harry Potter books are worth the most money
The first printings of the original first three UK hardbacks (not the large print or special editions) have fetched the largest sums at auction. The special editions can also be worth considerably more than the cover price.
Genuine signed copies of such titles can also add considerable value to the price.
