This is the original USA Holt bookclub edition hardback from 1982. Issued simultaneously with the mass marketed hardback. Offered here with it's original none clipped dustwrapper protected in mylar sleeve. The stated copyright date is 1982. Featuring the rare original full colour wrapper. The book is hand signed by Grafton directly on the main title page in her distinctive black fountain. The dustjacket on the book is one of the best I have ever seen with minimum sign of wear, otherwise FINE. The book is an overall fine copy with solid square boards, clean pages and no previous owner writing or inscriptions. The book appears unread and with tight binding, square corners and all pages intact. A very collectable book and one that is now becoming very rare in this unread hand signed state.
