This scarce Collector copy of the Grammy Anniversary edition of REVOLVER 50 contains trace paper pages inserted, new photographs and a series of illustrations, and contributions by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. The signed book is hand-bound in buckram, with gold foil blocking and gilt page edges. Additionally, each Collector copy includes an original pencil drawing presented within its box, on a record-sized 29 x 29cm (approximately 12 x 12") mount, which is suitable for framing. Each book and drawing is be signed by the artist Klaus Vootmann, and comes with a special Grammy Anniversary 12-page commemorative booklet. Capturing The Beatles' new direction in 1966, and visually representing their sound, Klaus Voormann's Revolver cover artwork became instantly iconic. This beautiful collectors set from Klaus Voormann is issued by Genesis Publications and sold out  on pre-release. Additionally, there is a Foreword from Paul McCartney, and an introductory letter from Ringo Starr, reminiscing about the making of Revolver and the album cover. This charming limited edition features the reproduction of 53 postcards sent by George Harrison, John Lennon and Paul McCartney to Ringo. The superb facsimile reproductions of the cards, complete with the occasional drawing, depict both the spontaneous wit and art of The Beatles. The reproduction of the postcards is supplemented with a revealing and humorous text from Ringo explaining the meaning behind the cards and documenting the corresponding moments of his life. This is quite simply a "must-have' item for anyone interested in the story of The Beatles' phenomenon. There is more handwork involved in the craft bookbinding of Postcards From The Boys than with any previous Genesis title. The two sides of each facsimile postcard are carefully pasted into every book to the extent that there are 108 individual pieces of paper pasted into every single copy. The text is printed in silver onto heavyweight black paper to create a true postcard album. In this LEATHERBOUND BOXED DELUXE EDITION of only 350 copies, each book is signed by Ronnie Wood. In this limited edition of only 1,965 copies, the first 350 are Deluxe Copies. Hand-bound in antiqued leather, with gold blocking and page edging, the binding replicates Wood's diary down to its original scuffs and scratches. Loose-leaf facsimile items include posters, nightclub tickets and rare photographs. Within a folding case, Deluxe Copies include an exclusive artist-signed print. Numbered to match your book, this 8in x 6in Giclée is made on deckled edge art paper and is suitable for framing. The 45rpm record features 'How Can It Be?' a song written by Wood for the Birds and recorded in 1965. The B-side unveils Ronnie Wood's new specially made recording of the same song. Wood has created the artwork for this 7in picture disc - a cubist-style self-portrait, complete with guitar and 1965 diary.
