HRH Prince Of Wales Christmas Card
UK 1993 Limited As New As New Private Press Signed by Author
A wonderful SIGNED Christmas Card with original provenance. This is the Royal Christmas card HRH The Prince of Wales sent to staff, friends and family in 1993. Presented to Royal staff member Sergeant Lewis. He worked in the Royal Household originally as a travelling yeoman for HRH The Prince of Wales and after their marraige, for both Charles & Diana. Sergeant Ron Lewis was very well known in private Royal circles as a highly valued member of the staff and received the RVM and Bar for his services. The card on offer here is inscribed and signed by hands 'To you both from Charles". The card is heavy duty thick white with HRH royal emblem in gilt embossed to the front. This is a lovely card with a super image of Charles, Harry & William relaxing. The provenance with this card is the best you will ever find. It was purchased from the Royal Memorabilia auction at Cheffins auction on 19th March 2003 in Cambridge. It was part of a large number of items offered at auction by Sergeant Lewis`s wife. An copy of the auction item numbers etc and the section of catalogue is included with this item which is clearly itemised. This is a very rare card inscribed and signed by Prince Charles with an exceptional level of provenance.

Also includes original envelope with Buckingham Palace post stamp etc. There is a crease through the card but this does not detract from the signature etc

HRH Prince Of Wales & Princess Diana Thank You Letter, 1991

CHARLES & DIANA HAND SIGNED PERSONAL LETTER REGARDING WILLIAM FROM 1991 A MOST BEAUTIFUL AND GENUINE ORIGINAL LETTER. An incredibly special presentation. An original letter on headed paper by the current heir to the British throne Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana. This very special piece is a letter of thanks from Highgrove House dated, 24th June 1991, to Mr Ahmed thanking him for the skilled care and attention that William received in his hospital in Great Ormond Street, 'it was a great relief to know that he was in such wonderful hands', concluding 'We only hope that being involved with a royal patient has not seriously affected your health... ! Thank you, once again, for everything you did to look after William', signed by both 'Charles and Diana'. One page, folio, mounted with colour photos of Princess Diana in the car on the way to the hospital and beneath, Prince William shaking hands with the headmaster of Prince William's school Ludgrove, Professionally mounted, framed and glazed with the original registered post Buckingham Palace envelope to frame verso. Prince William was accidentally hit on the head by another pupil with a golf club resulting in a compressed skull fracture. Princess Diana raced to the hospital following the ambulance and at the time there was some controversy as Prince Charles left the hospital on the night of Prince William's surgery to go to the opera. It was a very big news story at the time. Presented here in superbly preserved condition. Now protected with Professional framing and preserving. A super original piece.
