SIGNED & LINED UK first edition, first printing hardback by Headline. This is a very special presentation copy, having been SIGNED by Sir Geoff to the main title page. A truly UNIQUE INSCRIPTION and perfect example of his AUTHENTIC signature. Sir Geoff has written "FROM THE HERO OF '66" and signed below!!! This beautiful book was signed by Geoff Hurst in person and obtained at the Wednesday 17 May UK signing in Waterstones, Leeds. Accompanying the book are two full colour photographs of him signing and the original Waterstones flyer. In this lavishly illustrated commemorative book, England's World Cup hero, Sir Geoff Hurst, describes how he and his team mates took on and defeated the football world in the glorious summer of 1966. He relives all the action, on and off the pitch, as the England team embarked on the quest to capture the sport's biggest prize.
